The Feldenkrais Method is a form of somatic education to improve and enrich human functioning. In a series of gentle, directed movements, you will be guided to enhance your awareness of how you move and use your body. You will become more aware of habitual movement patterns, increase your range of motion, and improve your flexibility and coordination. This will allow you to rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement.

Feldenkrais is beneficial to everyone: for those wishing to simply move and lie more comfortably, to those with more specific needs, such as musicians, athletes, all the way to people with chronic pain and restricted movement.

It was developed by Moshé Feldenkrais, D.Sc., who combined insights from his work in physics, motor development, bio-mechanics, psychology, and martial arts to develop a powerful, effective, and practical application which shows that thought, feeling, perception and action are inseparable.

There are two aspects of the Method, individual lessons (FI or Functional Integration) and group lessons (ATM or Awareness through movement).
